2nd Annual Art & Garden Tour
July 12th

 WHAT'S HAPPENING:

2nd Annual Art & Garden Tour
Saturday, July 12th
Last July people from the Upper Valley were treated to a magical tour of some of Enfield’s most beautiful gardens at our first Art & Garden Tour. With map and guide book in hand people strolled past perennial beds, under pergolas, admired raised bed vegetable gardens, and wandered garden paths. Comments were, “Exquisite!” “Absolutely beautiful!” “The best garden tour I’ve taken!” The Enfield Village Association and The Enfield Shaker Museum are partnering again this year to showcase some of Enfield’s spectacular and varied gardens. Tourists will again be able to explore the gardens, watch local talented artists painting ‘plein air”, enjoy refreshments and have a chance to bid on silent auction items making July 12th a day to mark on the calendar for a delightful summertime event. Can you fit in to your old prom dress? Go for it. This elegant and fun evening event benefits the Enfield Shaker Museum. For info and tickets call 632-4346

The New Village Kiosk is up!
Our thanks to Eagle Scout Kevin Kosiorek for designing, building and installing (with the help of the Enfield Boy Scouts) the attractive information kiosk in the village, right next to the municipal parking lot. Lots of space for posters, information, events, meetings. This is a great addition to the village! The hanging baskets are adorning the lamp posts and the planters and town gardens look great! Thanks to all, the EVA Design Team and the Enfield Gardeners, for beautifying our village!

Enfield Village Welcomes a New Preschool
Extensive renovations have been made by Home Partners and Martin Mechanical to the barn shaped building next to the Copeland block to provide a home for the new Village Traditional Primary School in Enfield Village. The school will be owned and operated by Gary Flynn who has had extensive public school teaching experience in Massachusetts and California. He will be accepting students for the beginning of a Spring semester. Besides traditional learning, the school will remain open to early evening child care, allowing parents that commute to have plenty of time to leave work and puck up their children. You can reach Gary Flynn at home; 603 523 9132, or cell; 603 667 1088. Email: gpwf@worldnet.att.net
